For flood’s sake – Leeds city council outlines plans for flood defence

After visiting a Scrutiny Board meeting in the Leeds City Council Hall, we interviewed some councillors, and then made our way down to the river to speak to some businesses which were affected.

I had a hand in conducting some of the interviews that were carried out. I also put together the video package (with a voice-over by my classmate) and the Soundcloud clip. It wasn’t the best job done, with abrupt cuts and uneven sound levels. However, it was done under the time constraint of 10am to 5pm, inclusive of time spent in the meeting.

It was a really good experience! I felt that we did as much as we could within the time frame.
